If you've already paid for a domain name you may have free hosting included in the package. This means that your website has a server that is visible to the rest of the Internet. In many cases there will be no need to change this arrangement but it is important to know the restrictions that this can impose on you. If you decide that you want to add a database to you site and the hosting company doesn't permit this you will need to relocate your site to a hosting company that will. This usually isn't a problem if you're just starting out. However, if your site is in constant use and you need to move it this can cause problems as the transfer takes place. In some cases you may have the old and the new site being accessed at the same time by different customers.
We can advise you on the options available and how they may effect your future growth prospects. If you're already using a hosting service we can advise on making a seamless transfer to a new site.
